For the first time in it’s history, the ACHA did a live feed of the seeding selections. Working with Liberty University, the selection show was broadcast online for everyone to watch. Some teams, including Niagara, Arizona and Davenport, hosted watch parties for the team, fans and alumni.

The tournament will start on March 1st in Bensenville,Illinois, hosted at the Edge Ice Arena by Robert Morris University. The top 20 teams will make the trip. For a look at the bracket with dates and times, see the PDF below. There is also an easier version for printing.

Sixth ranked Oklahoma will face #11 Oakland (Michigan) Saturday March 2nd at 10:30 am. The winner of that matchup will play again at 10:30 Sunday morning and face either UCO, Niagara or Minot State.

The entire selection show is now available on Youtube. Check it out here.

The Sooners weren’t talked about much by the Heads except to say they are consistently in the Nationals and could be a sleeper.

“I’m not sure if I buy into Oklahoma as much as you do. They’re one of those teams, like you said, that’s always there. They split against Lindenwood. In my opinion, the split with Lindenwood doesn’t speak as much to me as other people, but, they beat Arizona State once.”

“….A young Oakland team, are they going to struggle against a team like Oklahoma that knows what it takes to win”

It’s all good. Our boys can and will get the job done.
